BEGINNER LEVEL ~ CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Beginner
For students who have never studied French. Learn introductions, counting, and asking for directions. Conjugate verbs in present tense and become accustomed to gender and gender agreement (feminine vs. masculine words). Emphasis on acquisition of correct accent. Final evaluation/exam each session to measure student progress.

Beginner Plus
For students with some knowledge of French grammar and vocabulary. Learn or review past verb tenses (passé composé and imparfait) and future verb tenses (futur proche and futur simple) and expand vocabulary through reading, writing, and basic conversation. Emphasis on pronunciation. Final evaluation/exam each session to measure student progress.

Beginner Grammar Review
Practical language skills review at beginner level, including exercises in grammar and grammatical explanation (nouns and gender, articles, adjectives, interrogation and negation, comparatives and superlatives, etc.). Final evaluation/exam each session to measure student progress.
